A short story about us

When the founder of Querétaro Expats first arrived in Mexico, everything felt unfamiliar. A new culture, a different language, and the challenge of building a life from zero quickly revealed how overwhelming moving abroad can be. Simple things — finding trustworthy services, understanding local customs, or meeting people — often became stressful experiences when there was no guidance or community to rely on.

Like many expats, there were moments of excitement mixed with uncertainty. But through those experiences came an important realization: adapting to a new country becomes much easier when you have access to the right information, meaningful connections, and people willing to help.

That realization became the foundation of Querétaro Expats.

What started as a personal journey evolved into a community-driven space created to help others feel more connected, informed, and supported while building a life in Querétaro. Today, Querétaro Expats brings together trusted resources, local recommendations, events, and opportunities designed to make the transition into the city smoother and more enriching for newcomers and long-term residents alike.

It begins with an expert review of the provider’s services to assess their professionalism and suitability. Providers must also supply five references from satisfied customers who are part of our community, and we personally contact these references to gather honest feedback about their experiences. Once approved, the provider's profile is featured on our platform, complete with a professional photo, a concise description of their services and expertise, and their contact information. This thorough process guarantees that only trusted, high-quality resources are made available to our community.
